Focused on the Prize
December 21st, 2007At the end of the year in Japan, people finish up their projects, clean a little, and basically slow down for a couple weeks. Its hard to get things done when people are already mentally “clocked out”. Its the type of facial expression people have on a typical Friday, but in this case, it happens for a week and a half!
This is in contrast to my activity recently. I have been going full throttle in all directions for a couple months now. I have so many projects and responsibilities now.
1) I work full time adding value for clients at V7N.
2) I teach english to a VIP client in Mita, which is a downtown, busy, and loud area of Tokyo.
3) I trade the Forex market a couple hours a day.
4) I clean up and prepare my Za7 Directory for a professional launch!
This burns up between 14-16 hours a day, 7 days a week. That might not sound all that bad, but I don’t take breaks. I actually eat in 15 minutes and its back to work.
What does this have to do with anything?
I have my priorities straight.
I have goals and I am driven to succeed at them. I may not have enough time to do all I want to in a day, but most of it gets done. That’s the main reason. The other reason is I am really excited about getting Za7 off the ground. It is a lot fun so far. I hope to meet more people who develop and promote these kinds of directories. What I mean is, the type of directory that people refer each other to it because they get a strong, valuable link out of it that helps their site get more attention. That is my goal, and I hope to find more people interested doing the same.
When you have a goal in sight, the work doesn’t seem so rough or long. It becomes a successful accomplishment just by completing it. I love to finish goals and make new ones. The problem is my goals are just a little too far away sometimes. I like to stretch myself. Maybe you are like me and you love what you do, if you don’t there is always a new career around the corner.
I am really excited about getting Za7 off the ground. It is going to be a great resource for Webmasters and visitors. I hope you can check it out and submit your best URL to be reviewed.
